What it takes to sell
Real clicks from any source: email, push, social, media buys. One test, the same rules for every seller, and every number on this page is the setting our systems run on.
The test
Every new stream sends 200 counted clicks to our own pages before it sells anything. We measure how many people opt in, so the result is ours, not a review.
- Clicks counted
200
Clean clicks from the US, Canada, UK, Australia or New Zealand, one per person. Repeat visits, filtered traffic (see below) and clicks from elsewhere go back to your return URL and don't count. Once you're live, buyers who allow repeat visits can buy them.
- To go live
Finish the test
No opt-in minimum. We measure your opt-in on the test, and buyers see it as a level.
- Live
10 minutes after your last test click
Opt-ins arrive a little after the click, so we wait for them, set your first levels, and you are live.
Always-on filtering
On every click, for every seller and every order. No buyer can switch it off, and none of it ever counts for or against you.
- Bots and crawlers
- Headless browsers
- Visitors without JavaScript
- Data-centre IPs
- Proxies and Tor
- VPNs
- Timezone mismatches: the device says one place, the IP another
- High-risk IPs by a third-party score
- Browsers that misreport their engine or device
Home internet and mobile networks often share one IP address between many people, which some checks mistake for a proxy. A visitor on a home or mobile connection counts as a real visitor unless the IP is high-risk; data-centre and business proxies, VPNs and Tor are always filtered.
- Bad-IP share
Slowed above 8%
Filtered visitors go back to your return URL. Once you are live, a stream whose bad-IP share rises above 8% is slowed down until it clears.
- Filtered visitors
Sold only to buyers who ask
On by default: we flag (VPNs, proxies, data centres, timezone mismatches, high-risk IPs or no JavaScript) and sell them at the going price as a “Filtered sale”. Turn it off in your stream’s Settings to send them to your return URL.
- Bots and automated browsers
Never sold
A filtered sale never counts toward your go-live test or your quality levels.
Levels
Buyers see four things about you, each as High, Medium or Low: opt-in, engagement, sales and IP quality. They are measured on the 5% of your clean Tier-1 clicks we route to our own pages while you are live. Opt-in counts each person once per 24 hours; engagement counts guide opens, follow-up email clicks and replies. You see your level and whether it is rising or falling, not the number.
How opt-in is rated
While the network is young, opt-in uses fixed marks: High at 40%+, Medium 25% to 40%, Low under 25%. Later it compares with the network, like engagement and sales.
New until there is enough data
A fresh stream is New on every level; the test gives you your first opt-in and IP quality levels the moment you pass.
Buyers can set a floor
An order may ask for Medium or better, or High, on opt-in, engagement or sales. Streams below it are not matched to that order.
IP quality is per visitor
An order's IP quality minimum is checked on each visitor's own IP, not your level, so your clean visitors reach orders that ask for High.
Levels move
They follow a rolling window of your recent clicks. Better traffic lifts them; nothing you did last month holds you down forever.
New sellers
- Daily limit
500 sold clicks a day
Across all your streams, until the limit lifts. Clicks above it go back to your return URL, unpaid.
- The limit lifts after
2,000 sold and 7 days
Both, and your levels at or above the network’s. It lifts by itself; there is nothing to apply for.
Minimum price, buyers’ bids
There’s no fixed price per click. Buyers choose what they’ll pay, sellers set a minimum price, and each click goes to the best match, so prices move with demand and supply. Set the lowest price you’ll take on each stream and change it any time; buyers pay that or more, never less.
Getting paid
Your earnings are on hold for 14 days, then join your balance, ready to withdraw. If we find a stream sent invalid traffic, we pause it, refund those clicks to the buyers and take the amount from your earnings on hold first.
- New earnings are pending
14 days
Counted from the end of the hour of each sale. Earnings on hold show in your wallet with the date they join your balance.
- With an established record
7 days
After 30 days of selling and 2,000 clean clicks, with no reversal in the last 90 days and no Low level on a live stream, the hold is 7 days. It switches by itself, up and down.
Linked accounts
You cannot buy your own traffic
Your orders never match your own streams, and never match a stream from an account linked to yours.
Shared devices are detected
Two accounts on the same devices are flagged for review. A suspected or confirmed pair never trades with itself.
A ban is a ban
Enforcement is forward-looking: throttle, pause, ban. A banned account’s streams stop selling at once; what was paid stays paid.
Neutrality rule
People who work on SharpTraffic may sell traffic here. These four rules keep that fair, and you can check each of them.
- 1
An ordinary account
Staff who sell use the same account anyone can open: the same test, the same daily limit, the same levels, the same filters.
- 2
The auction has no idea who the seller is
A click is sold on price, pacing, order age, fulfilment and volume, all properties of the buyer’s order. The seller enters only through the minimum price and the measured levels.
- 3
Marked wherever you see them
Staff accounts that sell carry “Operated by SharpTraffic” on their seller card and next to their name in every buyer’s click feed and seller list.
- 4
Admin access is a separate login
It cannot create or edit orders or streams. Staff who sell commit in writing not to use admin data to set prices or pick buyers.
