Every seller's clicks on SharpTraffic pass through a click domain that other sellers share. One bad landing page or one bad list hurts that domain's reputation for everyone. These rules protect the shared domain and the people who receive the mail.
Landing pages (buyers)
Your landing URL, every page it redirects to and the pages it links to must not contain or lead to:
- adult or sexual content;
- gambling, betting, lotteries or casinos, including social casinos;
- phishing, credential harvesting, fake login pages or impersonation of any brand, person or authority;
- malware, unwanted software, browser hijacks, forced downloads or deceptive "update" prompts;
- earnings or income claims that are not substantiated and accompanied by a clear, conspicuous disclaimer, or any claim of guaranteed income;
- sale of counterfeit goods, weapons, drugs or anything illegal where the visitor is;
- content that is hateful, violent or that targets a private individual.
Landing pages must load within a reasonable time, must not redirect to a different domain than the one in the order without declaring it, and must not fingerprint or cloak against our scanner. We scan at order creation, on every URL edit and periodically while an order is open. Orders are paused on a flag, on repeated errors and on a kill switch pressed by our staff; the buyer is notified.
Traffic (sellers)
Clicks sent to a stream URL must come from people who chose to receive your email. You must not:
- send bot, scripted, incentivised, exchange or purchased click traffic;
- mail lists that were scraped, bought or harvested without consent;
- put the stream URL itself in an email: mail your own link and redirect it to the stream URL;
- send clicks to the stream URL from a domain or infrastructure used for the content listed above;
- share one stream URL across multiple unrelated lists to game the measured numbers;
- open a second account to bid on or buy your own traffic.
Your emails must comply with the law where you send them, including CAN-SPAM in the United States: an accurate sender, a working unsubscribe, a postal address.
Anonymity
Both sides are anonymous by design. Do not attempt to identify, contact or deal with another member outside the exchange, and do not put identifying content for that purpose on a landing page or in a mailing.
Enforcement
We may pause, throttle or close a stream, order or account for a breach, with or without notice depending on severity. Enforcement looks forward only: earnings already credited are never clawed back, and clicks already delivered remain charged. Repeated or deliberate breaches lead to a closed account.
